I am a BABCP accredited cognitive behavioural therapist (CBT) and also a trained EMDR practitioner with a professional background in social work dating back to 2000. Since qualifying as a CBT therapist in 2020, I have worked with adults experiencing a wide range of psychological difficulties, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma and stress related issues. My training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) compliments my CBT practice, enabling me to work effectively with individuals affected by trauma and distressing life experiences. I am committed to delivering evidence-based, client centered therapy.

I have extensive experience working with adults who have PTSD, CPTSD, OCD, Panic Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Phobias, Low Self Esteem, Hoarding Disorder and Depression.

Prior to qualifying as a therapist, I worked as a social worker for over 20 years, supporting individuals and families through complex and challenging circumstances. These experiences have provided me with a deep understanding of the social and emotional factors that shape mental health and well being.
